Encentrum felis; a species with conspicuous symbiotic algae (zoochlorellae) and also brown defecation pellets. Head ≈ 1/3 of total length and retrocerebral sac with red granules surrounding a red cerebral eyespot. (5)

Encentrum felis; forcipate trophi; in contrast to Encentrum glaucum the fulcrum (4µm) is short (≈ 1/5 of manubrium length (20µm)), and the manubria are crutched posteriorly. (5)
